Epilepsy Education for Community Health Workers
The BRIDGE epilepsy education program educates primary care community health workers and physicians in epilepsy screening and diagnosis, epilepsy treatment, and care for the entire person with epilepsy and their family.
Hausa Epilepsy Screening, Diagnosis and Seizure Type Classification Tool
The BRIDGE team has developed and validated a tool in Hausa and English, administered by community health workers, to facilitate epilepsy screening, epilepsy diagnosis, and seizure type classification in low resource environments without easy access to electroencephalograms (EEG).
